J.D. Cousins, Inc. and EvapTech, Inc. announce a joint marketing agreement to provide energy efficient industrial closed loop evaporative fluid coolers

(BUFFALO, NY & LENEXA, KS 8.12.14) J.D. Cousins, Inc. and EvapTech, Inc. today announced a strategic partnership to co-market EconoCool, a closed-loop industrial evaporative cooler product. The EconoCool technology is a highly-efficient, cost-effective solution for large scale cooling of fluids that provides engineers and owners with many benefits:

·         Lower Horse Power Consumption

·         Lower Process Outlet Temperatures

·         Smaller Plot Area

·         Water Conservation-can use low quality water for spray water make up

·         High Availability–Robust, simple design results in easy maintenance which can be accomplished while fluid cooler is in operation

The advanced EconoCool technology uses a closed loop evaporative system with a single step process. The technology provides an effective and efficient method of cooling process fluids or condensing gases compared with conventional technology (aircooled or cooling tower and heat exchanger combination.)

The EconoCooler is a custom engineered field-erected industrial heat exchanger engineered, designed, and guaranteed by J. D. Cousins.

EvapTech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Evapco, Inc. provides the state-of-art air delivery system, pultruded fiberglass fan deck, plenum sides, and support structure.

In May, the two companies were awarded a major contract to provide EconoCool technology for a submerged arc furnace fluid cooler for Mississippi Silicon in Burnsville, MS.
